IMPORTANCE OF SOFTWARE SKILLS IN ENGINEERING

Many engineering students reach a crossroad. They stare at equations, wondering how in the world factoring polynomials or applying Newton-Raphson translates into building bridges or  machines. After all, shouldn’t engineers be out there getting their hands dirty, assembling parts and making things come to life? The answer lies in a crucial truth: engineers are designers. They can not only understand the “why” behind the equations they  learned, but also see their practical applications through software. This ability to translate theory  into tangible results allows them to confidently assess a project’s feasibility.
